Getting Ready for another year at the Clay Center Farmers Market

Have you ever visited a Farmers Market? If you answer is no, then I challenge you to visit Clay Centers Farmers Market. You will find some of the finest, locally grown produce. Everything is grown locally, picked at the peak of freshness and brought to you. Come and taste the difference for yourself!

2008 Market will be opening up on June 21st. The market runs from 8-11 and is located on the West Side of the Courthouse Square in downtown Clay Center.

Products available in years past from Vendors:

Tomatoes in various colors and varieties- Red, Pink, Yellow, Orange, Green, and Black
Cherry Tomatoes in various colors- Red, Yellow, Orange, and Black
Peppers- Sweet, Bells and Hot Types
Sweet Corn
Summer Squash-Green, Yellow, Italian Type, Round Type and Crookneck
Winter Squash-Spaghetti, Acorn, Butternut and others
Cucumbers- Burpless, Slicing, Pickling and Round

Help!! I am looking for GREEN tomatoes. I will be there on Saturday morning if one of your venders can PLEASE bring me some green tomatoes. I could use about 10-12 of them, then i can get some more every weekend.

I would be willing to sell you some Green Tomatoes. The only problem is I would want to be sure you could get them. Come by and see me and we can make some arrangements. I will have all the potted tomato plants.
